Honor someone special or their memory by making a gift to Fairplay in their name. Simply make a donation, indicate whether it is in honor of or in memory of someone, and add their name.

Giving through your Donor Advised Fund is easy, and can make an immediate and powerful impact on reduction of big tech and marketing targeting of children and families.
By scheduling your DAF recommendation, you help:
- Save staff time and money tracking down your gift.
- Make our team immediately aware that your gift was initiated.
- Help avoid lost checks, mailing delays, or gifts accidentally submitted to the wrong organization!
Don’t want to schedule your DAF now? When you are ready, you can also check in with your DAF host organization to make your grant to Fairplay.
Please note that we are not always notified of who has sent us a gift through their DAF, so please be sure to send us a note at [email protected] letting us know the gift is on the way.
IRS guidelines for Donor Advised Funds Gifts
- DAF donors will not receive an income tax charitable deduction when their grant is sent to Fairplay since the tax benefit was already received when donating to the DAF.
- A DAF donation can not be used to fulfill a pledge or result in any benefit to the donor.
- Raffle tickets, tickets to special events, auction wins, and any other benefits received in connection to the DAF grant are not permitted under IRS law.

Plus, when donating appreciated stocks directly to Fairplay, there is no capital gains tax to pay so your donation can go further.
