For years, we’ve heard from young adults who strive to improve the digital landscape and reduce screen time for their peers, siblings and generations to come. Fairplay’s Screen Time Action Network is proud to announce that we’re piloting NextGen Connect, a new mentoring program to support these young thought leaders.
NextGen Connect will pair each young adult Mentee with an Action Network expert in their field of interest and give them 1:1 time to build a relationship, collaborate, and take their project to the next level. In addition, participants will attend group workshops in legislative process, creating a grassroots movement, and press relations. The program culminates in a final project presentation and opportunities to shape the future of digital wellbeing for generations to come!
We’re looking for Mentees ages 18-26 years-old and Mentors with a variety of backgrounds and expertise to join our first cohort! Applications are due March 31 (Mentees) and April 15 (Mentors).
